FOR THE 2013/2014 SCHOOL YEAR:

State Preschool has two sessions at Oka School 9:00am-12:00pm or 1:00pm-4:00pm, Monday – Friday and follows the school year
calendar for the Fountain Valley School District.
We accept families based on need from our school district boundaries first, four year olds and then three year olds. If we do not fill up we will take out-of-district families, four year olds first and then three year olds.
The application process for 2013/2014:
1. Current families will be contacted April 19, 2013 to fill out the Wait List form. They
have 2 weeks to have an application appointment and turn in complete application
with all of the required documents.
2. From May 1, 2013 to May 31, 2013 all other families may fill out a wait list form.
Families are then ranked by need.
3. Once you are contacted for an application appointment you have 1 week to turn in a
complete application with all required documentation. We will fill spots
according to need until all 48 are filled (Four year olds first, then three year
olds).
4. Once the 48 spots are filled no additional applications will be
accepted.
5. THERE IS A NOMINAL CHARGE FOR THE STATE PRESCHOOL PROGRAM
THERE WILL BE NO STATE PRESCHOOL AT PLAVAN ELEMENTARY FOR THE 2013/2014 SCHOOL YEAR
